Stakeholder engagement
Project Green intends to engage actively with communities and other stakeholders with an interest in the development. The website will provide a route for stakeholders to contact the team, while a fuller stakeholder engagement plan is developed.
Local workforce development
Project Green intends to prioritise local employment, fair working opportunities and skills development for Nigerians. Through recruitment, training and workforce development, the project aims to build local capability and support long-term participation in the project and wider economy.
Local business participation
Project Green intends to support Nigerian businesses through local procurement and supplier participation. Where possible, the project will work with local suppliers and SMEs to create opportunities for business growth, employment and broader community value.
